In this article I will explain another of the fundamental points for creating a blog , often underestimated or even overlooked but which helps to increase the indexing speed of the articles and therefore the growth of the blog .

so favor the pages that convert the most, pages where you have affiliate links, pages with more traffic and pages where you collect email addresses …

In the eyes of Google if a page is linked to your homepage then it is definitely an important page

Tips: the most important articles must be one click from the homepage! While in the entirety of your articles you must not exceed 6 clicks from the homepage

which means that the farthest article you need to have from the homepage must not be more than 6 clicks away

  • Use the DeepLinking technique : The Deeplinking technique (or the inverse pyramid technique) is simply the fact of starting from the most common and generic resource possible (of a given topic) up to the most specific one and interlink everything together


in this way Google will see that for a certain type of topic your blog has a multitude of articles and this will make you authoritative in its eyes

  • Optimize the Crawling Budget : The crawling budget is the budget that Google makes available to crawl blogs


one way to improve this budget is not to index pages that don’t need to be indexed

for example: the privacy policy, the payment page, the contact page, etc.

Google will not waste time indexing these pages that do not bring you any value and therefore the most important pages will be treated sooner and in a shorter time
